St Marks Starring Role

St. Mark's has Starring Role at top Global Conference
On 24th November, St Mark's Endoscopy Unit will perform a four hour live link-up to the World Congress of Gastroenterology (WGC) which is being held from November 21st - 25th.
St. Mark's is the only UK hospital to have been selected for this prestigious honor and once again confirms our place as one of the world's top gastroenterological institutions.
The WCG is a landmark conference which brings together the forces of the four pre-eminent organisations in the field: The United European Gastroenterology Federation, the World Gastroenterology Organisation, the World Organisation of Digestive Endoscopy and the British Society of Gastroenterology.
Three of our top endoscopists - Dr Brian Saunders, Dr Chris Fraser (pictured above) and Dr Noriko Suzuki - will be performing joint operations with three partners who have flown to St Mark's from around the globe. The operations will then be beamed to the 15,000 waiting delegates at the Excel Centre in London where the World Congress is taking place. As our head of Endoscopy, Dr Saunders, commented, "It doesn't get any bigger than this".
